RAISING CMS STANDARDS WITH UMBRACO
How can we make sure each website we develop offers an experience that suits the brand and the user?
We work with the best Content Management Systems.
At krow, we’re platform neutral, tailoring our wealth of CMS experience to each individual client’s needs. There’s never a one-size-fits-all solution, but as we explore the jungle of CMS options, we’ll often find ourselves coming back to Umbraco.
Why? The scalability is off the, well, scale. It works great for smaller set-ups or major builds for long-established brands. Flexing to create a natural fit for each project.
See for yourself with a few of the Umbraco builds we’ve launched for our Clients recently.
BLM Best of Both
The challenge? Create a site to generate leads for this major law firm, and launch it alongside our new brand work in a very limited timeframe. All reflecting BLM’s Best of Both proposition of legal experience meets personal service.
Umbraco’s flexibility proved ideal as, from UI design to approval, we put the site together in an impressive 32 days. Now, it continues to grow with the business with feature updates and fresh content.
Langton Homes
This Leicester-based property developer pride them self on inspirational designs, so we had to create a site that shows just as much care and refinement.
Cue Umbraco: the natural choice for a site that needs to be easy to manage and frequently updated with upcoming properties, while incurring no licence fees. The modular approach means admin users can easily change content without limiting their ability to flaunt the latest plot developments.
The sitemap for Langton Homes was on the smaller side, so we also implemented high scale SEO-optimisation to maximise website value.
Ashfords
A national supplier for legal services, Ashfords asked us to deliver a new website with a slicker user experience.
The site hierarchy proved a good challenge, as we split the content into distinct business and personal sections – each offering various sectors and services. We needed a platform that could manage all the different types of content and site structure, but without costly license fees.
With UX at the forefront, we used Umbraco to structure the site in a way that is easy for search engines to view, while offering users a clear, compelling journey.
Since launch, site traffic has been on the up throughout 2019, while we’ve carried out proactive UX reviews to make functional and design refinements to continually improve the Ashfords experience.
Don’t get us wrong we love working with a range of other platforms too, including Sitecore, Concrete5, WordPress and Drupal. But when we feel it’s right for the client’s needs, Umbraco has never let us down.
